[Beat:] I've actually been on P5's before [/beat] and saw her advice postings and that she's coaching etc. Then looked her up and saw she's done nothing?!?!?

Also, she doesnt live too far from me. I think I could easily attain that

I believe homegirl cuz I have a 90% ROI in about 40 lifetime STT's so 40% is easily doable.

True story.

In fact, these cover almost every game: NLHE, LHE, PLO, PLO8, LO8, HORSE.

True story.

I don't like to brag but upon further review i'm probably one of the best poker players of my generation.

how did that work out for him???

*UIGEA came along

*It's not financially worthwhile for him to do it

*The time required to develop a statistically significant sample size is phenomonal.

It's sorta like "The Stig" on Top Gear and his feedback on how to improve cars. Sure, every now and then Koeniggsegg will remodel their car to respond to his feedback, but at the same time, these sorts of rediculously excellent experts are typically excellent because they have good judgement.

Of course, it is theoretical, but at the same time, it is not worthwhile dismissing out of hand.

Fwiw, as someone who used to play lots and lots of SnGs for like 3 years, i only started playing poker back in March when i took up cash games.

Only skimmed the thread, but if you are teaching SnG theory whilst not knowing about ICM you should just advise them to buy the new 2+2 SnG book instead.

I'm not sure how anyone could teach SNG bubble play without knowing ICM pretty well.

I guess I just don't get all the hating/flaming? What is there to gain from refuting whether someone is a winning (or losing) player? Time will tell; and long term results speak. I know the vast majority of you guys see a "P5 Regular" and think donkey (I'll admit I have done the same before and it's generally correct), but I guess I just really don't see why everyone is getting all worked up.

If she's good she'll start making a name for herself and move out of micro stakes. If she's not, she becomes old news after a few months?

Live and let live. Some of these posts seems like they were beginning to get personal with each other. There's no need to be all 2P2 PR1DE about this - successful going Pro stories make good inspirations for the next generation.

I'm sure she's a good SNG player.

Heck, she could even be the best SNG player in the whole world.

The fact is that a sustained 39% ROI over 11K 1-table tournaments is mathematically impossible, no matter the stakes/quality of play by opponents.

I'm sure she's a great player, and I have no problem with her teaching or anything, but why lie about results? Sooooo many holes in the story too...

Some people love truth, some people just like to f*ck with others, most people fall somewhere in between.
