Why are people betting turn and not calling a push?

I don't think I would check that turn. I am definitely folding this river though. I hate losing 100BB stack with TPTK.

What time did you play the hand???? My hand took place at 9:14 PM PST. That is pretty sick.... I have no reason to lie here. I made a bad call on a very sneekly played A-A. The villan in my hand pushed with 10-9 on a previous hand to another player's K-K and hit runner-runner Q-J to make a straight. This hand is not about you. PP is rigged. I can't believe I'm back.

Back to the hand: it sucks that we know villan's hand, but why would he bet that much on the river. I showed weakness on the turn (my intention) and given his holdings, that is pretty locked board. I let the clock down before calling, it just seems that given the board and his hand, he can't put me on much. Can anyone explain that push given the strength of his hand?

post the entire hand history with stack sizes and results and everything. One of you is wrong, or PP is rigged.

maybe in the excitement you misread 77 as AA.

I know it was A-A b/c I couldn't figure out why he bet that much with a locked board.

Is this a standard LAG play at 400NL or a donk move? It's hard getting comfortable at this limit.

Hey,

This hand I hit my set of 7's, and the river push was based on the fact that I put you on a good ace, and I figured you may put me on a flush draw/worse ace/total bluff. Figured if youd call a pot bet, you'd call the whole damn thing

[/ QUOTE ]

This explains my river push. The unconverted hand history is as follows:

If you're not 'kes1981' I apologize, but considering the hand is 100% identical, and it is from PP NL400 last night, I'm gonna go on a limb and say that it was me?

It's hard to get comfortable at a limit when you call $350 (100BB)with one pair. Whoever it was I played against called in about 2 seconds tops. Nice try on the subtle dig though

Edit - You know it was AA because of the way you remember I bet, which is more reliable than the hand history you posted yesterday?
