Re: 50NL;KJ flops TPSK; he donks flop, calls raise, and pushes turn
Man you post good hands Lego. I've immediately got a draw draw as a huge part of his range after the donk/call on the flop. This is also TP a lot. On the turn, sometimes he has a monster, sometimes he's semi-bluffing with a strong draw (5c4c for example) and sometimes he thinks his JT is good. I'd say a reasonable breakdown is something like 35% two pair or a set, 35% a draw with around 30% equity, 20% TP, 10% something like TT which means, if my range is reasonable, ou have about 55% equity (I'm doing this in my head, but that should be about right) making this a call. I dunno though. calling here doesn't seem right, maybe my range is bad.

Re: 50NL;KJ flops TPSK; he donks flop, calls raise, and pushes turn
obviously a tough spot, but I'd probably fold...he's got a large range and there's a good chance your up against 2pair or better...

I'd probably call because of player's stats.

That's a very high post flop aggression factor for such a high VPIP.

Re: 50NL;KJ flops TPSK; he donks flop, calls raise, and pushes turn
turbo call.
These are the hands you want to felt against these types. These people are your friends. Unless you have a read on this fish, this is a good hand to go broke with. He pushes that turn with a lot of crap. |

My Thoughts
Ok my two cents. The flop donk is usually a draw or top pair or second pair with a mediocre kicker. I don't need to worry about top pair or second pair cause I beat it. And the turn didn't really complete any draws, but made some more of them and also he could have a draw + a pair now.
And I really do think if a set gets played this way most people would push the flop although most would also check in the first place with a set. Two pairs are very unlikely....What two pair could he have? So after like 15 seconds or so I called. |
