Default want to lose 15 pounds in 2 weeks

me: 5'10, probably 225. that's not as super fat as it might sound, I was a sprinter in high school weighing around 190. I'm generally kind of big all over, but right now I'm clearly 25 pounds overweight or so.

I have a friends wedding coming up and want to lose at least 15 pounds by then. how hard will this be?

current eating habits: I eat whatever/whenever, sometimes a salad with lunch. I generally have an alchoholic drink or 2 at night.

I don't work out at all, though I have access to a gym with plenty of cardio machines and time to workout every day.

can anyone recommend a good 2 week plan for me wrt to diet/working out? it's not a big deal if I don't lose 15, but from what (little) I understand, I think I can do this.

15 pounds in two weeks, eh?

This isn't possible unless you count water weight.

Actually, I lied. You can do it. Take 2,4-dinitrophenol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2,4-Dinitrophenol), Clenbuterol, and run 10 miles a day with a 500 calorie diet, and you should be able to do it no problem.

(By the way, 2,4-Dinitrophenol is cellular poison - basically ingesting cancer.)

By the way, losing water weight won't make you look thinner.

really. i dont know anything about this but I always listen to howard stern in the morning and Robin did the 21 pounds in 21 days diet. And after she lost 22 pounds or something I thought she looked skinnier in pictures. they were not photoshopped or anything. Just regular ones they put on the site.

I would think it would make you look skinnier just using common sense. Like if I take a diuretic to get ripped before a bodybuiding contest you look skinner/more ripped.

I believe it does too. Pro bodybuilders are known to sodium load about a week prior to competition, then completely dehydrate themselves right before to get added definition. Hold on, I will try to find a really cool thread on BB.com about a guy who went from 10% down to 6% bf in about 4 weeks, but used all sorts of tricks to make the change look absolutely phenomenal.

Edit: He actually has 2 threads - 1 is more of a journal detailing his progress and outlining his methods

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=2113371

Here is his results thread

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=2583541

Edit 2: Here are the pics of the transformation in case anyone doesn't actually want to read the thread. Just posting them cuz I think it's amazing.

I wrestled in HS, and I could EASILY look much skinnier in just 2 weeks. Its probably not the safest thing out there and it might not be good longterm, but....

OP, if you really want to look considerably better in 2 weeks then its going to be absolute hell on you. Follow this plan and I think you'll be good:

Eat between 0 and 750 calories per day, and try to average 300 or less. Do the following workout each day:

5 mile warmup run
then 2-3 hours of strenuous exercise

That was pretty much what I did for wrestling and it definitely worked. But obviously if you're in bad shape now you probably won't be able to keep that up for one day yet alone two weeks. Its hard work man...I'd suggest setting a more reasonable goal.

15lbs in 5 weeks is more doable, but still close...You could try the Velocity diet though it takes tiem to prepare for...Shoot for 8-10lbs realistically without going overboard.

It is harder to look different at all in 2 weeks.

15 pounds of what It will be mostly water/glycogen loss anyways

Set up more of a longterm plan where you enjoy the process instead of a painful 2 weeks of checkraising yourself.
