Default 200NL live; forget pot control?

200NL live

Villain is a giant fish, I've seen him call allin with gutshot draws, hes got a horseshoe up his ass and has around $2,000

Hero ~$200

Hero has A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in MP

Preflop,

2 limpers, Hero calls, 1 caller, fish calls in SB, BB checks

Flop

A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Fish bets $5, BB calls, I raise to $25, rest fold, Fish calls, BB folds

Fish usually bets bigger with TPGK+, so here he either has a flush draw or TPNK, I'm ahead virtually all the time here and value raise (and get BB out)

Turn 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Fish checks, Hero pushes

Value stack fish on flush draw or TPNK? Against regular players or at 50NL - 100NL online this maybe a check. But forget pot control here?

Thanks

its full ring so its a pretty marginal raise. To thin the field a little, I'd have to go $15 preflop, building probably a $60+ pot on hopes TP would be good.

I'm only commiting my stack HU vs giant fish, vs others I would be more cautious...

YOu have to raise AJ pf. There is no point on giving advice on the rest of the hand because this is the most important. Did you want to play AJ SIX HANDED? Wtf? You have no idea what you are up against now.

Really? I'm surprised raising AJo is mandatory here. Popping it to $15 and getting 4 callers gets you no better idea of what I'm up against in these live games and the incremental value from an EV standpoint preflop here is marginal at best...

We must play some similar places live. $200 live, you raise to $12 and you get anywhere from 4 to 8 callers lol. Only decent spot is to be in the BB with AA/KK/even AK and just make it $100. That f'in thins them out and often wins you $72, a bunch of dirty looks and you don't even have to see a flop.
