New forum idea "Babes"

There seems to be enough interest for this. There are countless threads in OOT, LoL, BBV, and PoG with nothing more than pictures and discussion of hot chicks. Anyone have any opinions?

I don't see why it shouldn't happen, it would put an end to a lot of "rate this chick, yo" threads on OOT. there also seems to be enough of a demand for it.

Another forum that would be pretty sweet is a "Torrent Links" forum for good links to download music, TV shows, movies, porn, etc.

This forum does have rules, and they would apply to a new section. No hardcore links ect ect. All it would take is good moderation.

Generally speaking, I am against any forum splits which divide the community that's already been established. There are obvious exceptions to this - Sports, Politics - but for the most part I think it's a bad idea.

Anyway, you're not factoring in the concept of "community". Whenever I go read BBV I can clearly see that I'm an outsider and they have their own thing going. Since the demographic of that forum leans towards males in their early 20s, invariably threads about chicks are going to come up. It would be pointless to ship them off to a separate forum. Same thing with OOT - although it's probably a slightly older, less fructose-enhanced group, we still like to discuss and look at broads once in awhile amongst ourselves.

I really don't see what benefit you think this will have, particularly relative to the negatives. Also, if the threads are bothering you, simply don't read them - they surely encompass a pretty small percentage of the threads started anyway. But I'm not sure why you are suggesting the forum so it's not fair to make that assumption...
