Default Turn open ender in 3b pot deepish HU

My image is very good this match as I have only shown down legit hands, on the other hand I have caught him floating once and I c/c a psb bet (after turn checking through) w/ a mid pair beating his busted flush draw so his image is not great. My notes say he plays very marginal hands oop, capable of floating, value bets maybe too thinly at times

(also have 3bets a very tight range and cbets large % after 3betting but dont think its very relevant, maybe itll help you get a better feel for the opponent tho)

your line is consistent...its just a matter of what his range is at this point

id go with 35 (46) 22 44 66 (overpairs) and if his floats take the form of turn donks then a fair amount of air and maybe even some A2 A4s that picked up the FD (but if i were villain i dont think id donk those hands)...

i guess it just comes down to what you think your FE is like...given your good image i would imagine that this is only slightly -EV considering your (hopefully) 8 outs

fwiw I definitely think midpairs are in his range bc he bets very thinly and I doubt he would try to exercise pot control here

Also if you dont like the c/r to you prefer a turn lead (size?) or c/c?

wow dude i really misread your post... i like your line alot having looked at it again (i didnt notice it was 3bet..dunno how...and i thought you were in posistion

i actually think this is really good and like it alot more than just giving up which i think is better than a DB bc i can see him bluff shoving the turn alot

fwiw though i donk think the pf 3bet is that good against an opponent like ship

If he calls your flop bet wtih any pair, any draw and then is always betting turn and only calling you with top pair or better its mega spew (costs like 100$ in EV assuming semi sane preflop range)
So.. you would need him to :
a)float often OOP in 3bet pot
b)never checking for pot control behind
c)always bluffing turn

And even then it would be marginal.

All in all: a spew.

I ilke, there's no reason for him to have a hand here and he really ought to be folding midpairs. It does look like you're on AK and have picked up clubs but I guess that's only because that's how I'd play it, you could turn up here with KQ sometimes if the game's playing right.
