Ghostbusters (New)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etGWugTbGwk&NR http://forums.ghostbusters.net/ghost...0-0-asc-0.html It's probably nothing to get overly excited about yet, but Zootfly is a real games company. The video is likely a mock-up they created to see if there is interest or something along those lines. It's all over the web, including Ain't It Cool News, so there definitely is. I've thought for years now that a Ghostbusters game in a GTA-style open-ended world is a complete no-brainer. |

Re: Ghostbusters (New)
New article today says, "The game is currently on hold as they negotiate with the owners of the Ghostbusters IP, Columbia Pictures, who just so happens to be sister company of Sony Pictures."

I hope that the entire game doesn't take place in that post-apocalyptic NYC from the video. If that's all it is, you may as well play Gears of War with some ghosts thrown in. I'd like to see some elements from the cartoons incorporated, which would give them a lot more to work with. Some missions outside of NYC would be cool (farms, castles, carnivals), and they could take some directly from the cartoons. Also, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man MUST be in this thing. |
