Default 33 blind battle

Villain is 21/16/1.9, 1.6, 2.0 over 800 datamined hands. I've been check/rasiing him a few tiems in blind battles and getting him to fold. He might be getting tired of that, but who knows. Other than that, we haven't really been interacting much.

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
4 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4SB, 2 players)
Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">BB bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, BB calls.

Turn: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4BB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises</font>, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: 1BB returned to BB.

Final pot: 6BB

I always feel like I'm getting outplayed on these types of turns, but I can't really think of a better way to play it. For whtaever reason, c/r, c/c, c/c seems "wrong" to me.

If I call down, I think I'm getting shown a better hand like 50% of the time and A-high the other 50%. Those are just guesses, however, and don't have any quantitative rationalization behind them.

holla.

Pot size is messed up on the flop. I don't like your check raise there on that flop. For one, your equity is really never great given his range. AK, AQ, and KQ all have plenty of outs against you, and none of them will fold to a turn bet. Also, that flop is very, very draw-heavy, and your recent history may give him the urge to put in a free showdown raise with a high card hand. Also the flop texture will make it so that he practically never folds a better hand. So, your equity is very weak on the flop overall, and the flop texture may lead to him making an aggressive move with a worse hand. This is a bad situation for you. Putting more than one bet in on that flop does not seem reasonable.

Now should you check fold? I don't think so. I think you should check call. The drawy flop texture works to your advantage in this case. He will bet the turn with worse hands because you could be check calling that flop with a lot of draws. So it looks like you'll be able to get to the river against his entire range for 1.5 big bets. This is provided the turn is a good card and not a Q, K, or A, which completely demolishes your hand, in which case you would fold having invested 1 small bet.

I would check call the flop, check call a good turn (probably folding to a bet on a 9 turn as well), and probably check fold the river.

i have no idea why u c/red the flop. ur way behind. if ur not already close to dead then villain has pretty close to half equity anyway. just c/c down. for half a bet more u could have showndown this hand. dont bloat the pot just so villain can own u later.
