Default Double brag

I've been looking for a 2004 Toyota Tacoma. I like the body style a whole lot better than the new ones and can get one with low miles and in excellent condition for $10k cheaper.

So, I'm browsing on autotrader on Sunday and find a 2004 w/ 24k miles for $19k. It's a standard model, no extras, doesn't have power windows or door locks, but we can go ahead and get all those goodies installed later. Bluebook on this one was about $19k and I plan on going straight to the dealer, giving him $18k cash and taking it home. So I call, [censored], it was sold on Saturday.

Fast forward 2 hours, I'm still pretty pissed that the truck had been sold. I've been searching for like 3 weeks and can't find a single 2004 Tacoma w/ low miles and in good shape. Decide to search a little deeper and check out the local ads. Find one w/ power everything, towing package, cd player, sound system, tonneau cover, [censored] loaded. And asking price of $17,995?? WTF. Check the blue book and it's over $23k. I immediately call the dealer and tell them I'll be right over to check it out. Take it for a spin, get back to the dealership and salesman asks if I wanna make an offer. I say $17,200. He says ok, lemme go check with my supervisor. Comes back with the supervisor, who proceeds to tell me the dude who prices the vehicles must have [censored] up, because "as you probably know, the blue book on this one is over $23k." LOL, I act dumb, "oh really, I didn't know." Apparently the dude who prices them doesn't work on Sundays, so we can't talk to him but supervisor says he can give it to me for sticker price, but that's the best he can do. I tell him I've got $17,200 in cash and I'll buy it today. Sold!

Also, here's today's graph. I've won 10 buy-ins in a day twice before, but this time it took 25% of the hands. The $.50/$1.00 was a 45 minute video of me 2-tabling that I made for my Dad and friends who suck at poker and wanna learn. So there's my good deed for the day. Goooo karma.
