Would any 2p2ers be interested in setting up an SSNL private table at Party 100NL? i think it might be fun to donk it up a little/shoot the breeze with a few fellow 2p2ers

I'm off to smoke a cigarette and be back in 5 mins but if there are a couple of ok's in that time i'll set it up.

EdiT: X-posted from party regs thread so take your [censored]-talking there.

if your serious that it was 53% over 200k hands, thats probably the luckiest stretch of poker I've ever heard of unless you go to showdown like 18% or something ridiciulous

[/ QUOTE ]

have you looked at any datamines? average W$@SD for the 177 top hands played players at stars 2/4 is 51.6

53 is a bit high, but for his style (if its the same as i have seen still) its about right on par and maybe only slightly high imo.

[/ QUOTE ]

I just want to chime in on this. A high W$SD% is definitely possible over prolonged periods of time depending on how you play.

Here's all the 100NL I have played on my new database. I was a gigantic massive tilt monkey during this stretch too (I think the graph shows very clearly my pattern: play good -> tilt -> play good ...) so it would have been a little higher.

I can go into the reasons why I think W$SD increases but I think it is pretty basic - I guess fundamentally less aggression with mid strength hands means that you get to and win more showdowns.

Yeah, it does seem like people with high W$WSF have lower W$@SD. My W$WSF is 46%, but my W$@SD is 49, which is much lower than most 2+2ers.

So, I just had my session with Will. FWIW, I was a 7ptbb/100 winner at 25nl. With the interest of moving up to 50nl, I was lucky enough to get him to help me. The session was extremely helpful, and Will really opened my eyes. He made me think on a much higher level, scrutinizing every move I make, and every move my opponent makes. Will takes a methodical approach to each hand, reasoning through the hand until the right decision is reached. He plugged a few leaks of mine that I didn't even know I had, and I know for a fact I'm a much better player after only an hour. I plan on hiring him for more coaching and I highly recommend him. Here's my graph from the session he sweated me.
