It does in Europe. There is no need to be a dbag, especially if you are not well informed .

Please explain how trying to be helpful equals being a dbag. Thanks.

I deal frequently in paypal and gaming in europe. This would not be possible to use your US paypal in this manner. Paypal API checks the country first thing, and will stop you if you try to deposit to betfair.

If your betfair account gets blocked it will be a pain to not be in the UK. They frequently block new accounts for verification.

Paypal does allow you to have multple account in different countries so you could setup a 2nd paypal account in britain. You will need a british bank account however.

The only place that will let you have an account as a non resident is Barclays, it is £10k minimum to open. But if you have a willing relative this is all possible to do.

Idiots aside, Betfair does take Paypal.

Paypal have been known to lock Betfair users' accounts seemingly at random (There will be a common cause, but I use Bank Transfer so have never felt the urge to look into it I'm afraid.) so if you go down that route, it's likely a good plan not to keep too much in Paypal if you can help it.

Lori

Edit: Also, probably best not to do it, they're pretty harsh at enforcing the non-US policy.

Should be quite simple - find a UK-based friend or 2+2er who'll let you play their Betfair account and use their PayPal. In exchange, you send them the funds (and an appropriate % for their efforts) to their Stars, Neteller or Full Tilt account.
