Default 200nl, AK 3 bet pot, 200xbb deep

villain is a regular running at 21/14/4 over 829 hands
I don't have much notes on him other than those stats, obviously I suck at taking notes, but villain probably doesn't get out of line a lot if I haven't observed a thing about him over 800 hands

We have played a few 3 bet pots on this table, but never really went after the flop. anyway, please comment on all streets and bet sizes?

Interesting spot. I can't really see him calling anything we beat besides a very optimistic QQ, PERHAPS KQ, And ofc AK where we split.
Don't think you should VB this spot. I think c/f is pretty weak, and he might bluff with JJ,QQ, or a busted FD.

Would probably c/c with a bet up to 130.

I'm looking forward to see what the rest of you guys think of this hand.

I think a blocking bet of 50 or so is better actually.
Btw. Wellplayed so far.

I agree with what you said minus the blocking. I am c/c here all day.

He should be calling you pretty wide pf in this spot, because effective stacks are 200bb, hence his implied odds are huge.

Flop is fine.

After he checks the turn we are good here most of the time. There is not much value in betting the river. C/C is the best line here.

What was your plan on the turn?

I think a case could be made for either betting the turn and c/c'ing the river or just c/c the river. I think a FD is a huge part of his range when he calls the flop bet, so betting has no value, not to mention we fold out QQ or worse, unless he truly believes you don't have a K.

That said, if he bluffs the river enough, I think c/c is the right play here.

Then again, I'm new up here, so I don't know if villains will ck behind their missed draw?

I was planning to c/c on turn up to 3/5 pot, if it's bigger than that, I have to decide to push or fold (more likely to fold though). Also, I did not think I can get 3 streets of value out TK against a decent player even though he know that I can be bluffing 3 bet pot. Of course, I was also afraid to get check/raised off my hand

my read on this player is that if I check, he will check behind any KQ, Qs, Js or any other pp as those all have show down value against my hand and he knows it. He will most likely bet something like 2/3 pot with complete air like flush draw or AQ, AJ (I highly doubt he would call flop with AQ, AJ though)

also, if I bet smallish like 1/3 pot or 1/2 pot, he will call with Qs, Js, any king and probably any T, and probably 2 pair as well. Problem is I am not sure if he will bluff raise me here with air

guess no more response, I bet $42 and he called with Js. since I bet monsters like this sometimes and I thought maybe my opponent has seen it before, so it should be much less likely for him to bluff with this bet then just check to him.
