Just make it 54-55 or so.

Most opponents are folding KK there, and definitely QQ or AK.

GKA,

If i make it 55:
a) he will always call with KK (i guess so) and maybe?! PP`s

b) i have a very hard time postflop, because he`s maybe willing to felt with KK, but of course also with a flopped set. So if i get called and the flop isn`t QKJ like, i am pretty much commited...

Ok but all in all pushing can`t be the right answer, so maybe he might put another raise in with KK to "find out where he stand". I dunno how silly ppl are...
So Jason would also make it 55ish here? Or what would he tell you ?

Is flatcalling actually a possible option here? He might be willing to put more moniez in on a baby-board, but i can also run into trouble if he rr me with 67s and the flop is 772 or something like that...
Just interested if anybody is smoothcalling here. With 100BB smoothcalling is definitive a valid option, but that deep...

Hercules,

I don't care if you are a terrible postflop player.

Making it 55 makes it unprofitable for him to call in the long run no matter how bad you are postflop.

Also, I know people like to say SNGs arent poker or whatever, but you still need to have decent postflop skills to beat the 60s+ which you do.

Hercules, there are different things you can do to control their implied odds.

1) Don't only 4-bet with AA, mix it up with other non-monster hands. (This isn't something you should do often though)
2) Use pot control. You have position in this hand, so you should be able to keep the pot close to size you want it. That's the beauty of having position.

So, as for the hand, make a standard raise as GKA suggests. The only time I'd make a big over shove like this is if I have a history of 4-betting this guy, or it might appear that one of us is on tilt.

Devin,

The 4-bet is still better than a shove, because some bad players will talkt hemselves into taking a flop with JJ+, AK.

Agreed that as you get more skilled, just calling is okay.

Personally, I hate playing deep so I want to force my opponent to make a mistake preflop.

GKA, thx for advice. I was somewhat shocked here...sounds silly, but playing EFFECTIVELY 250BB deep the first time and then with AA. I overreacted due to many circumstances. I am basically a beginner to poker (3 Months) and exspecially in cash,so it was like thrwoing me into cald water.

But i appreciate every advice, so pls keep on taking my game apart

@devin:
sry for the inconvenience, but i posted while playing. So it was easier to copy paste it from instant HH. Is it so bad to read? I`ll try to convert the next times...

Al,

You aren't folding, so just shove flop.

GKA, I was not advocating a call. 100BBs deep I'll often call. This deep, I'm 4-betting almost always.

The pot control commit was about postflop play.
