Default Pokerstars over 100% rakeback, Read more inside

Since pokerstars has pissed me off badly enough for me to quit the site completely I will be informing all of you that dont already know about the over 100% rakeback deal on stars.

1. The first requirement is that you become Supernova.

2. Playing in the 1-2 fixed limit full ring game will earn you an VPP .42% of the time which means if you play 100 hands 42 will give you a VPP

3. 42 x 3.5 roughly 130.

4. 130 FPP at 1.5c each

5. Rake required is only 50 cents to get an VPP so in a 10 player table when rake is 50 cents each player contributes 5 cents ( so your MGR is 5 cents per hand ) You get 1 VPP for supernovas that 3.5 FPP, at 1.5 cents each FPP thats abouve 5 cents so above 100% rakeback.

6. This is not even including the milestone bonuses which will drastically increase your rakeback percentage.

7. You can easily make 20k a month playing 7 hours of 8 tables of 1-2.

If you would like more details I would be glad to give them to you, but I expect that this post will stir some trouble. Enjoy and I hope some poeple actually take advantage of this deal so that the greedy company doesnt keep all profits and give us one bonus every 8 months.

This is partly correct.

Except you are ignoring the aspect that on many hands the rake will be higher than $0.50 so you will be contributing more.
If every single raked-hand was only raked $0.50 then your calcs would be correct.

So your plan to get them to give more money back to us is to teach people to lower their profits/margins? I'm sure Stars will react to a hit to their profits by giving away more money. Moron

Roughly looking over my PT numbers, about 20% of hands are raked at 25 cents, 42% is raked at quarter and above. And the rest is not raked at all.

If you play 5k hand per day which can be done 8 tabling for 7 hours. That will give you 2k VPP per day. IF you play 25 days per month that will get you 50k VPP per month if you maintain this all year long you will hit the 2k, 3k,4k,5k bonuses which will increase your overall rakeback percentage to over 145%. I did these excact calculations during the beginning of the year, this is why I have been conitnuing to suffer losing at stars is to become Supernova elite which will get you over 215% rakeback playing 1-2 all year long.

It's been a year since I've played any FR limit so remind me how long it takes to play this way before you kill yourself?

lessu - exactly correct.
You really are getting over 100% RB on SOME of the hands you are playing. But this is true at .5/1 or 1/2 NL also. When a hand is raked exactly $0.40 or $0.50 all the SN's are getting over 100% RB for that also.
Unfortunately, not all of the hands are raked exactly at that amount.

It would appear from his post that OP thinks he is getting a true 100% rb ALL the time by playing 1/2 limit and did not look at his average rake per hand to determine his true RB.
I can't help but chuckle at thought that he was grinding all those hands on those tables with the mindset that he was getting 100%+ all the time.

However, it is true that he is getting a really good RB rate there.

I don't think his estimate of $20k per month is correct either. At least not just in rb anyway.

Even a fast-moving table should be in the 40 VPP/hr range.
At 5.25 cents per VPP this is $2.10 an hour in RB.
So at 10 tables you are pushing around $20/hr in RB.

So I'm really not seeing how he can get to $5k/wk playing 7 hrs of 8 tables.
