Default advice

i have a $300 bet on saints -4 tonight and i also have a $50 3 team par with saints being the last leg, but the 3 teamer is one win and one push so it turns into a 2 team par. is there any value in betting the titans +5 for a smaller bet?

Thanks Ben for your wonderful contribution to the thread. Your continued existence as a poster on this site brings a smile to my face and joy to my day.

But your bump did make me reopen the thread, and so I'll expand:

If you think Saints -4 was a good bet, there's no value now in betting Titans +5 unless you think that line is independently +EV.

The line move alone will not be enough to have made the bet +EV based on the opportunity to "middle" the -4/+5, unless you now have information which leads you to believe that Titans +5 is directly +EV independent of your previous bets, in which case you should adjust your position to reflect that situation based on your perceived risk and the value of that perceived risk.

If you weren't comfortable having the exposure with the saints the last leg of the parlay, you never should have put them in there.

Comprehensive enough?
