I can only remember one time I went busto since i started playing semi-seriously. It was just bad luck+ bad BR management + unexpected expenses + playing horribly due to tilt all at the same time, not a winning combo imo.

Had to move down from $200NL to $50NL after playing way to thin a few years back when I was only semi-pro. Bustoed my FTP account with like $35K in in it but I still had lots to redeposit with. Really wish I had a definition of Busto, but this is BBV and posts are supposed to suck here I guess.

I was pretty damn close to busto at the beginning of the year. I turned things around and have had a ridiculous year since compared to what I'd done in the past.
I think I lost my first couple $25 deposits on UB years ago, but the 3rd was a charm and I've never been officially busto since.

I've never gone truly busto meaning $0.00 in all my poker accounts I have been down to $5 and less before but never got all the way. Lowest i've been is 23 cents but luckily i'm expert at .02/.04 lhe.

i find it hard to belive that since the poker boom that 46% of people who answered this post on this have NEVER gone busto. if you have never gone busto, and you are not a millionaire you just suck ass. i have bustoed probably 12 or 13 times, and have still made aprox 40k in PROFITS between live and the interwebs, and if i had never gone busto i imagine that i would have made close to 500k by now not even playing full time. and in my opinion, i have only the slightest edge gainst breakeven msnl players. i would venture to say IMO the number of players who have actually never been busto is closer to 15% again just my opinion.
