Ep is probably donking with two pair. Top pair probably would have bet the flop and it is hard to see him pealing with J8 or 78 to make him a draw on this rainbow board. I suppose he could be donking with something like QT or JT and figures he has picked up some outs and will bet here to see where you are at. Even though the pot is small, I think it would be a mistake not to raise here especially if you think the ep has two pair.

You described the BB as Aggressive but has shown none to this point and may just fold the turn anyway.

Charge them while they are drawing since the betting may dry up especially if a queen or a Jack hit the river.

If the button is not loose and assuming you are in the cutoff I would raise to gain position and put more money in the pot to intice the loose players too stay with you when you flop top pair. If the players are showdown bound I may just limp in here.

I limp preflop and raise the turn. How are you going to be able to 4-bet hands like a turned set unless you raise?

I agree with this, but FWIW nobody at Hollywood Park has ever 3-bet a set where a straight is possible. Nobody except a 2+2er, that is.

i'd raise preflop to isolate the limper, but i guess if the blinds are super loose, then you should just limp...

RAISE PREFLOP. I don't play unraised pots online unless i'm in the blinds, and I tend to pump it up from there with 2hi or better. Seriously if i'm limping into a pot, i'm not playing well, or am playing hands I shouldn't be/don't know how to in the situation. Consider your limpmachine passivetwat moron that limped in and the other guy who apparently is also donating in this hand. A raise is best...even if the flop comes 239 it gives you FE and you can take a free card pretty much 100% of the time . Pay 1 bet for 4 cards is a nice way to think of it. I raise the turn because it puts the EP player in a tough spot if he has a hand. If he has a set/2p you are getting MUCHO bets. I'm rambling...nh

Raise turn, wtf? Is this trolling? Especially if you know BB will call 2 cold with garbage.

ummmm, how do we "know" that he will call 2 with garbage? LAG != braindead.
