Default Top pair on river

<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $160</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $310</font>, Hero calls $138 (All-In).

Final Pot: $800

River imput would be greatly appreciated. Heroes image was aggro at time. Opponent was a little bit of a calling station.

i would have probably bet turn and river smaller, now fold even though u are getting great odds he is not bluffing you and he is not pushing a worse hand.

With no reads, you're building way too big of a pot with a marginal hand, IMO. Are you hoping AJ is going to pay you off? A9?

you need strong reads to 3-barrel this for value. "a bit of a calling station" generally isnt enough, though it is a pretty safe board and i'd expect to hear from a bigger hand by now (though its a safe board for him to slowplay, too!).

probably not. i dont miss many valuebets (though i do occasionally valuestack myself when i get greedy). I'd like to have enough behind that I could either bet-fold or shove though.
