I finally tried weed this year. Which is funny since I am from the Pacific NW. Never liked the smell. Didn't like the burn.

I am a cigar fan. Arturo Fuente FTW. Give me an Arturo Fuente Seleccion Privada and a nice dark/smokey cocktail and I'm a happy camper. I hate the person that introduced me to Laphroaig scotch.

I know i need to branch out, but haven't had money/time.

I take my bourbon/whiskey/scotch very seriously. Rum I take semi-seriously. Vodka I go flavored smirnoff because one less mixer and dirt cheap. With vodka my criteria consists of not cheap enough to make me go blind. I mean, if you're planning on mixing anyway the difference is minor.

If you're going to drink cheap flavored vodka, at least switch to Fleischmann's. I swear they put GHB or gasoline or something in Smirnoff because I always feel like [censored] after drinking it, even if not much.

Ok, that's not entirely true, but given the circumstances required to achieve my first hangover (a mother with a tolerance that beats mine plus unlimited spending) I consider hangovers a nonissue.

I've tried the nicer vodkas: grey goose, supreme, level, and they just leave me feeling "whatever". Haven't tried Fleischann's. Skyy weirdly enough smells better but tastes worse than smirnoff. I like alcohol with an actual taste, hence my love for bourbon/scotch/whiskey. But given my tolerance such things will not do on a daily basis and so I have bitch drinks that are both delicious and satisfying. One of the nice thing about being a girl is that you can enjoy girly drinks to your heart's desire.

Cliff notes: Vodka is a bad example when it comes to taste, but a necessary evil when it comes to drunkeness.
