The lack of interest in this thread speaks volumes for how little chance any game has at overtaking no-limit hold 'em. Even 2+2ers don't care about HORSE very much.

True. People claim they want to watch something other than no-limit holdem on occasion, but they really don't.

How'd this Hanson guy get this far?

It's HORSE, but still it's only a MTT. All MTTs are at least 90% luck, maybe 95% luck.

The thing no one remembers about that hand is that the dude was actually holding Queen high.

Not that it matters. :P

I was very happy to have 6 hours of something other than coin flips involving pair and overcards.....

I just don't think there was a lot to comment about in the episodes besides Trans call, (followed by his fishey call w pair of 6's...) and Hanson taking forever to decide on whether to check or bet... Good for Freddie for calling clock.

The episodes were fun to watch, but pretty uneventful.

Unlike NLHE, I don't think most 2+2 members are qualified enough to have advanced discussion about Stud8 and Omaha8 hands. Furthermore, the actions during those hands tend to be pretty standard moves for the most part.

I enjoyed it. Will watch again.

I enjoyed it. I thought it was the best event of this years WSOP coverage. Hell if JMan had been shown we'd have an extra 3000 posts in this thread arguing about if he's a donk or not.
