Re: 20/180 - 22 in bb with UTG raise and SB call
OK. Good. As I say, I can't remember exactly how deep I was but I think the second estimate is closer.
I called because I'm fairly sure I'm getting it in if I hit, three way with three streets to play and because sometimes I'll triple up. Conversely, I don't think there's any way to win the hand if I miss, but I don't think that, on the FT bubble, it makes much difference whether I have 13 or 15 BBs in my stack in terms of FE. I don't think I have much additional resteal equity by folding. Lastly, doubling up here is going to just rock. Anyway, for the sake of argument, let's say the pot is now 10k and I have 13k behind. Flop is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB insta checks, I... |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I'm calling. You're getting like 6:1 on your call, and chances are very good you will get your stack in if you hit your set. [/ QUOTE ] Unless i'm missin something the pot has a little less than 8k and its 2k for you to call making it just under 4:1. Folding > Shoving > Calling imo [/ QUOTE ] Men, I misread the hand, thought someone besides SB was the other caller. Still, your implied odds are fine here. Also, shove flop. |

Re: 20/180 - 22 in bb with UTG raise and SB call
I'm not sure we do have the implied odds. Sure maybe we have 7.5:1 or whatever, but we need more than that to cover the (few times) where no one contest the pot after the flop, or where we still lose when we do hit a set.
