but if u don't like the series, then at least u will benefit from the game, as other games will emulate it soon enough; it'll be the gold-standard for all console FPS controls, so soon every game on Wii will control about on par with keyboard/mouse

Why would all other game developers suddenly be able to implement perfect controls just because one game developer does it?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm talking completely out of my ass here but doesn't Nintendo develop all it's own games? If so the programmers will obviously give each other trade secrets and what not. And if not, the controls will get ripped off if they really are that good.

[/ QUOTE ]

No, there are lots of 3rd party developers. The games developed by Nintendo themselves are usually the best though.

I didn't play the second one (heard it wasn't as good), but the first Metroid Prime was ridiculously incredibly great.

Brunswick Pro Bowling was shown at E3, and it sounds like its going to be really good. This is a game I might consider buying a Wii for

I hope I'm wrong, but I have serious doubts about any Wii game that is also going to be on another platform. To me, that signifies that the game was not designed around motion controls, but that the motion shifts simply replace button presses. It can work, for example, I think Madden control is pretty sweet, but I don't think it's anything to get excited about.

I'm so ridiculously excited about all these games, even bowling lol. I just wish my Super Paper Mario would ship already, it's been like a month or more since I ordered it. If anyone knows a reliable international shipper for NTSC Wii games and accessories, shoot me a PM.

I've said it before and I'll say it yet again, no way all three of these come out this holiday season. I think with SSBB not being shown at E3 it will likely be the one that gets delayed. It just isn't like Nintendo to release three huge titles like this (actually it isn't really like them to release two huge titles in a close time frame). I would be extremely surprised if all three are released this holiday I've said, and now it appears to me as if SSBB will be the one being delayed.
