Re: Moving up... stats check
My game is quite different than yours, but I like my PFR to be much closer to my VPIP in EP.
<12 VPIP? How do you stay awake?? |

Re: Moving up... stats check
You look really tight and I don't know how the games play at the site that you're on.
Are you raising SPP & MPP from the UTG and UTG+1? because your VPIP is 3x your pfr from those positions. Limping from those spots is just bad. Why is your button earn rate so low? (It may just be variance since it is a small sample.) Your W$WSF% is really low UTG, may be a result of some limping that I ask about above. You look solid, but very tight. |

Re: Moving up... stats check
I think i'd look into why you are losing so much in EP. It could just be aberrational (10K hands is not a really huge sample size), but I believe the blinds should be the only position where you should be negative.
Could be limping too much EP or not getting away from enough hands postflop when you are OOP and it shows up as losses from EP since you are OOP most often from EP. Just ideas. |

Re: Moving up... stats check
My first thought is that you are perhaps a little too tight but thats not really a big deal. I also think your pre-flop raise could be a little higher.
My main concern is how little you use position. I think your VPIP should be 3 times higher from the button compared to UTG. Even in loose games don't underestimate how profitable blind stealing is. Even if you get called you will very often win it on the flop. |

Re: Moving up... stats check
Less than 3ptbb at your main game isn't fantastic over that number of hands. Why not spend a bit more time at NL50 first and try a looser game, as others have said try stealing a bit more. Maybe raise pocket pairs around the ring. I raise all the pairs except maybe 22 - 55 UTG in loose games, or in the blinds where there are already a bunch of limpers. Check your profitability on pairs, you may get a nasty shock particularly with the little pairs.
Maybe also raise up s-c and one gappers in CO and button. Have a look at skydancer8's NL25 video for some ways of loosening up, he's maybe a bit too loose and crazy but it should give you some ideas. gl man, just don't move up too fast and go busto. Also, your small blindīnumbers look weak, maybe have a look at what you're playing from that position. |

He's actually winning at 5.72bb/100 he just hasn't changed it from the limit hold em default. But yeah 10k isn't many hands. Nothing wrong with moving up though as long as you move back down if you lose a few buy ins. |
