ssid on wii

i need to know my router's ssid to use wireless with my wii.

i am using the school's wireless router so i cant login or chance any settings. is there anyway i can play wii online using said router?

if not, will it work if i use a ethernet cable plugged into the wii via a usb to ethernet converter?

On a Windows XP PC, this setting is typically found in the Network Control Panel. From inside the Network Connections control panel, double-click on your connection, then click on View Wireless Networks (XP SP2) or the Wireless Networks tab under Properties (XP pre-SP2).
