Re: The greatest night of television ever...
To Serve Man was a pretty great one. Ever seen the episode of Futurama where Bender is a chef, and his apron says 'To Serve Man'...hehehe.

One suggestion: X-Files, The Postmodern Prometheus (an intertextual masterpiece, which draws on Frankenstein and Mask for its inspiration, filmed in black and white).

Taxi: Jim goes through his father's stuff after his death, lays out his suit over the couch, and finds the tape of Stevie Wonder's "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" his father has left for him.

Re: The greatest night of television ever...
This thread is obviously going to be generational. Which reminds me why I love the Lounge. To the rest of 2+2 I'm like Grandpa Simpson, but here I'm more like Otto. Which I dig.
Anyway, my picks are based mostly on rewatchability. I'm assuming this will be on TV every night. Here goes: 7-7:30 Jeopardy 7:30-8:00 The Simpsons 8:00-9:00 Quantum Leap 9:00-9:30 The Office (American version) 9:30-10:00 Cheers 10:00-10:30 Seinfeld 10:30-11:00 Trailer Park Boys 11:00-12:00 Law & Order (either the original or SVU) 12:00-12:30 Just For Laughs Gags (It makes me laugh, okay?) 12:30-1:00 The Wonder Years 1:00-1:30 Three's Company |
