I\'m stupid and screwed this up #2
Villain seems pretty reasonable pre and post flop. Very little history, basically unknown. He's got $230 and I cover.
Full Tilt Poker Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 4 players Converter Pre-flop: (4 players) hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG calls, Button folds, hero calls, BB checks. Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($6, 3 players) hero bets $6, BB raises to $20, UTG folds, hero calls. Should I just fold to his raise? That doesn't seem right, but reraising? Spewy? Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($46, 2 players) hero checks, BB bets $40, hero raises to $166, BB raises all-in $206.25, hero calls. Great turn card. No idea at all what to do. I guess maybe I should have bet out. I was also thinking that if he had a set it would prolly be 4s, which means he might fold, or I would at least have 6 outs. |

Re: I\'m stupid and screwed this up #2
This might be weak, but when I'm playing well I fold to the flop raise, at least against a reasonable player.
Once we make it to the turn I think check/call is the best line. Bet 2/3pot and fold to a raise has it's merits as well. |

I would fold preflop and to the flop raise.

Re: I\'m stupid and screwed this up #2
i'm playing top two as passively as possible in a unraised pot here oop multiways on that board. i check call this flop. 3 betting the flop doesnt look good at all with the size of the pot. any turn card other than a 6 or j on the turn isnt going to look good and you'll still have more than half your stack behind.

Re: I\'m stupid and screwed this up #2
I would fold to the flop raise due to reverse implied odds.

I would fold preflop and to the flop raise. [/ QUOTE ] Fold preflop? Seriously? OP, I play it the same way as you really, but I'm used to .25/.50 players who think a flush draw is good enough to get it all in. I suck at laying down 3 pair and 4 pair for whatever reason. He couldn't POSSIBLY have the other two of any of those cards right? |

Re: I\'m stupid and screwed this up #2
The more I think about it, check-calling on both streets would maybe be ok, no?

Re: I\'m stupid and screwed this up #2
I think it's OK if he is moderately aggro, don't see any reason why you would check call the flop. If he is tighter and unlikely to have a draw here I would be much more cautious.
You are overrepping your hand here a little, but that's OK: he might fold 44. |
