Also remember that it is not possible to deposit or cash out on Party with a Thai IP Address.

Is it only a problem on party? I had heard you could not open up Neteller either from a Thai IP. Can you deposit and cashout on every other site besides party?

How do you get around this?

Other sites are okay that I know (I don't play on pokerstars).

To get 'round the Party problem you can either dial up an ISP outside Thailand for deposits or use Tor/Privoxy to change your IP address.

TOR

Neteller worked me for a period last year then stopped completely - so I would probably say no.

I arrived in Bangkok about 3 weeks ago to play from here. I played for about 6 months here last year.

I've never tried to play from internet cafes - I rent an apartment and play from there.

All gambling is illegal in Thailand so you would need to have your explanations and exit routine well sorted.

Also remember that it is not possible to deposit or cash out on Party with a Thai IP Address.

I was there for 4 months last year and didn't have any problems playing but had problems cashing out.

The cashout thing isn't such a big deal though, you have to leave Thailand every 30 days anyway to renew your visa, so you just make sure to remember to cash out during your visa run if you need to.

I never had any problems with the law. In fact the police used to watch me play sometimes. Gambling may be illegal in Thailand, but it is still the national pastime.

By the way, I didn't find the internet cafes to be slow at all, at least in the tourist areas. I was in Ko Samui, Bangkok and Pattaya and never had any problems.
