misschriss: unless you're making 50k+ your job probably sucks, aren't you like 17 or 18 or so? srsly... go on the trip. this is a no-contest. if you don't go, you will seriously just hate yourself for it. i know this because i'm the guy that didn't go on the trip.

Yea I'm still 19, almost 20 tho. It's a very well paid job but like I said, it's just work experience -meaning I'm still in college and need this to work because otherwise I might fail..
And if school finds out I'm not doing my placement they will probably kick me out or I'll have to do the whole thing again in like the summer vacation...

I was attacked by a kangaroo. It didn't do any damage, it just got my clothes dirty because it had dirty feet and it kicked me. I was surprised so I just backed away from it, but from that encounter I'm pretty sure I would win in a fight vs a large kangaroo. They are strong but they don't have the physical capability of doing much damage because of the way they are built. They can bite though if you get your hand near their mouth.
