3/6 is more my speed bankroll wise too... I would love to play some live Stud 8. And no, I mean Saturday. Sunday I'll be busy playing in the tourney (*finger cross*).

I see what you meant now. I'm definitely down for playing some stud on Saturday. I should be there sometime Friday night too.

For anyone that will be there on Saturday be sure to go to the players club booth and have them swipe your players card. They will randomly add money to players' accounts, one person will get $250,000 if they show up and swipe their card.

should be a good time, last 1 they had a couple of months ago was alot of fun. i think they ran up to 10/25nl @ times & also a strong 2-5 omaha that was over stacked, played like a 5-10. they also had other games at all over the spectrum, i enjoyed the 1-2 omaha last visit....

with 2 tournys a day, the cash games wern't over the top like @ coushatta during their big events, but a strong game was always on!

the tournys were spectacular last time...huge prize pools for the buy ins...50k 1st place for the $230 buy in..it was great..plus 45 mn blinds & 4k starting stacks..

Any chance of a local getting his hands on the HORSE tourney's structure sheet and posting the details?

Hate to say it since I am a local, a regular and support the floor personell and the dealers in this fine room, BUT, I'm not sure they will even know the structure yet. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] However after the market closes today I will head down there to play in the 6PM Jack and Jill tourney and ask for you. Will post back after my return or tomorrow morning if I get the info.

Here is the lowdown on the HORSE tourney:

Code:

Levels Games Low Card Antes Blinds Limits
1 Holdem 0

Hell forget it, way too much typing for a chart lol

Holdem starts at 10/20 blinds with 20/40 limit
Omaha8 starts at the same
Razz starts at 5 ante 10 Low card 30 complete 30/60 limit
Stud starts at 5 ante 10 Low card 30 complete 30/60 limit
stud hi/lo starts at 5 ante 10 low card 30 complete 30/60 limit

12 minute rounds $330 buy-in starting chips of 4000

Limits go from 20/40 to 30/60 to 40/80 to 60/120 to 80/160 to 100/200 to 150/300 to 200/400

Hope this is enough info.

Jimbo

PS: The room no longer offers 75 cents per hour comps, just found out they now comp you on a complex formula seemingly based on amount of play, level of play, level of tipping, level of player nittiness, time of the day and mood of the floor on duty. Still not bad for regulars but the casual player may not get as much as before.

Seems like kind of short rounds. I'm excited nevertheless.

The PL and 2-5 and up NL games have unlimited by ins. 1-2 NL is $200 max. During the last SNPC they got a Razz game going, I think it was 5-10. During the main event, I have seen 100-200 Triple Draw and Chinese poker.

The evening tournaments start at 6:00 and usually take up all the tables at the beginning and they clear the cash game list at that time. If you want to play cash, it is a good idea to show up right after 6 and sign up, then go to dinner and come back when the tournament field has thinned out.

The best parking is behind the casino. As you exit I244, go past the casino and turn left at the light by the Wendy's. There is a canopied walkway thru the middle of the parking lot that leads to a door that is right by the poker room.

I was there till 1 AM this morning and cash games were running the entire time of the tournament (as well as before). There were 305 couples entered in the Jack and Jill yet both the tourney and all the cash games flowed very smoothly. There were 4 2/5 NL holdem games, 2 5/10's, plenty of Omaha games at various limits and saw a list for chinese poker at 5:30 PM, not sure if it got started, not to mention 1/2 NL holdem games everywhere.

You are right that they clear the list at 6:05 PM but if you are at a table (particularly 2/5 or higher) they have hired enough dealers they weren't breaking tables so if seated you got to keep playing. Personally I thought clearing the list 5 minutes after the tourney begins is brilliant, it keeps the cash games clean and full without calling out names of people sitting in the 6PM tournament.

Also if you are in a cash game and want to play a 1 table satellite ($45's, $85's and $125's ran last night) you must pickup. You get 45 minutes for a meal break before being picked up but will go to the top of the list if you get picked up and are running a bit late from dinner.
