Re: FT200 I hit a miracle in a 3-bet pot but he slows down
Wow, this is getting interesting. I think CRAI on the flop we only get called by 99~JJ as worse hands. And AA KK or set as better hands. fwiw I don't think it's a good move

If what you say is true, it's profitable to call every 3-bet OOP, and c/rai every non-broadway flop every time, no matter what you hold. Nobody folds overpairs in 3-bet pots to flop c/rs. Really. And if you are aggressive enough, no one folds hands like pair+gutshot or something, either. |

Re: FT200 I hit a miracle in a 3-bet pot but he slows down
Hero puts villain on JJ and bets $75. Villain tanks and calls with AA.
I seriously didn't put him on AA after his turn check. |

Re: FT200 I hit a miracle in a 3-bet pot but he slows down
For those of you that are saying get it all in on the flop.
Are you saying this because villians 3-betting range is like AQ+/TT+ and QQ is ahead of this? Seems like Villians calling range is < is 3-betting range. Is getting it ai on the flop standard? I dont this, would just like a solid explanation why I should be doing it and if not doing it is a major leak? |

It's reasonable to believe he'll call 99-JJ a decent %. Still we're probably a slight dog when the money gets in, but that doesn't matter much because there's really no better options then just pushing, esp being oop. If we call he's not likely to keep fire AK on the turn UI, and thus we're giving a hand with 6 outs two cheap cards to draw out on us in a big pot. Also, if the turn is Q+ he becomes much less likely to stack off with 99-JJ. If we call we could easily be faced with a tricky decision on the turn, but generally we can't often fold. Cliff notes: Just get it it now before scare cards hits and will making worse hands to fold. |

$100ish and AA/KK calls all day putting you on JJ. JJ probably calls too thinking you have 1010.

Re: FT200 I hit a miracle in a 3-bet pot but he slows down
Not only is QQ above his range but to be honest, I think there are some weak tighties that will fold KK+ with a flop CRAI also. CRAI makes us harder to play anyway in 3bet pots for metagame purposes.

Re: FT200 I hit a miracle in a 3-bet pot but he slows down
his range for calling a river bet and his range for betting the river if checked to should be virtually identical here

Re: FT200 I hit a miracle in a 3-bet pot but he slows down
Really don't think trying to get all-in on the flop is good here with Nielso's image, although I'm afraid to say that because bilbo-san will likely reply with some snarky one-liner.
