Default PS $10 rebuy---- help with assigning ranges

It's a $10 rebuy with 238831324 players. I'm pretty new at the table so no real reads on villain. We are past the rebuy period w/ avg stack being about 9k and blinds 100-200.

My stack = 6,700
Villain stack = 15,000

What is my play here? What range do you give villain? What range do I call with? What range do I push preflop?

PokerStars Game #11578238057: Tournament #57909201, $10+$1 Hold'em No Limit - Level VI (100/200) - 2007/08/19 - 17:27:55 (ET)

as i understand this you are UTG and villain is button.
your M=20, villain's M=50

i can't give you your opening range from UTG (this depends on your style)

without any reads or stats it's always very difficult to give ranges - but we assume villain to be the typical tight/aggressive player.

as he reraises UTG maybe something like: JJ+,AK

so your calling range should be about the same and your pushing range KK+

but again with no reads this is nearly impossible to say

i'd lead out with about 800-1k, fold to any raise, don't put anymore in the pot after a call

oh crap. the only thing u got going here is your pf raise that may have loosened his 3bet range. further its a somewhat -cEv/marginal call for set value which should imply that we will be commited to play flops like these. And when we get here i cant see any reason not to checkshove

Yep. If you call, you have to checkshove this flop. What else were you looking for on the flop? If you played for a set, you got nowhere near the odds you need to setmine.
