22+R AK vs a big stack

Villain is one of the CL's. Was only moved to this table a few orbits ago, so have not seen him play many hands. I have a close to average stack. Stack sizes are awkward for an all in move so decided to raise enough to convince him that I am commited to the hand. Plan was to stop and go, but board was super ugly. On the other hand he checked, and I beleived he might lay down something like AJ, AK, TT and pot was twice the size of my stack. QUESTION: Should I proceed with stop n go? Or is board just too ugly.

Actually your stack size is perfect for a shove here. You should of just pushed pf.

As played i guess you have to shove this flop.

to be honest I may push it pre...don't love it but I hate putting my money in on the flop with no clue where I stand...you should have some decent FE pre and you'd add 25% to your stack without having to improve...dunno if h would've folded but if he called with AJ you would have gotten it in great pre and lived with consquences...as played I'm not sure if he was going to fold any holding on the flop with decent odds...

Yea just shove pre, you have an ideal resteal stack and villain might look you up light because he thinks you think he's opening light because he got a big stack and that you're restealing.

Yes I should have, but doesn't the half stack raise look stronger here? Wondering if that can give me more f/e. Also after flop, absolutely he is getting 4 to 1 and will call if he has any piece. If so, this means have to rely on him not hitting at all for stop n go to work. If that is the case can we EVER put the brakes on here?
