Re: Small Set Faces Pot-Sized River Bet
BDF unlikely. If you lose, it's to a higher set. I'd call.
Any info what he's calling flop bets with? |

Re: Small Set Faces Pot-Sized River Bet
You really can't fold here. The play is bizarre, but at a 1-2 NL game in AC, you are good here a lot more often than you might expect.

Re: Small Set Faces Pot-Sized River Bet
I called, he flips over A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and tells me to protect my hand better. I told him I didn't really care to win a $14 pot with a flopped set. Maybe slightly bigger flop bet to cut down on his implied odds?

Re: Small Set Faces Pot-Sized River Bet
"Protect my hand" meaning "Protect my pot", but that's obvious, eh?
