Realisticly we only beat two hands, A10 and AJ, you think hes just gonna call off his whole stack here? Maybe I give people to much credit, but I really dont see it.

If you build a pot worth calling their stack off for, they will. If you bet 1900 on the turn and he calls, the pot is 7700 and you have 4100 behind.

In fact, with less than a PSB left, I would still shove river as played.

Maybe not but he's gonna call more than a weak quarter pot bet on the river, plus if you bet more on turn say 2k then we can get much more on the river for value.

Villain called river bet and showed K9 for a pair of nines. This surprised me and got me thinking that my bet sizes might be too small. Could I have been inviting a reraise somewhere? After all if he thinks a 9 may be good, other players may think I could easly let go of the hand?

i bet more on the turn and value shove the river
if hes calling 1800 he'll call a shove and time it down a bit then shove make look like you were debating whether to bluff shove or not weaker aces definately call you here and if he has ak tuff luck
