Default $215 Sunday Million... What is the toughest section to play?

I constantly find myself building a 100k-125k stack with ease and always seem only end up cashing for 400-odd. For me, the toughest section to play is after the bubble bursts. What's yours? Can anyone suggest why I'm not doing as well on the run-in to the low 100's?

I agree 100% with Bond18, but I'll still try to answer your question.

If the toughest part of the Million is right after the bubble bursts, you may be doing it backwards. Scared money/n00bs/donkeys - whatever you want to call them mainly play way too tight through the bubble and then once they have 'scored' into the money, open up with a huge, huge aggro range (and why not, they have a long way to go and are now very short).

In a nutshell: The bubble is about accumulating those chips from the tighties (steals/resteals - make most of your money by making opponents make bad folds). Right after the bubble, when all the gamble wakes up, you have to tighten up and play TAG for a while (make most of your money by making opponents make bad calls).

FWIW, playing right will make you not 'cash for about $400 most of the time', there's a trade-off and it's in bubbling a lot more than you currently do, but having the chips for a deep run when it works.
