Grummin: Any way to switch to an affiliate if I originally signed up directly so I can get RB also? Thanks.

As with all sites, it depends on how you came in. Feel free to PM me with your nickname on Cake and I'll let you know.

Our agreements with affiliates and players who refer other players do not allow us to move players who were credited to them. This is the standard across the industry.

In most cases though, we're seeing that RB players are earning daily awards on Gold Cards and hundreds of dollars in the GC 500 weekly race.

you might consider asking the original affiliates whether they mind giving rakeback...most affiliates prefer netting 5% of something rather than 30% of nothing!

FWIW the site I work for was asked by Grummin and we converted the entire tracker to rb. With the room being so new it was a pretty easy decision. Just offering rakeback has generated a buzz in the forum the site did not have before.

Hopefully this means that traffic may pick up in the near future.

FYP, but at this point any kind of players would be a good thing. I've been playing all the available (limit) tables within my bankroll with more than 1 other player on them and this usually means playing 1 or 2 tables and another site.

i think customer service and response to players will matter more and more...as well as quality of software as players become more sophisticated....and cake is doing a lot of good things!

Yes, I love the site, just needs more traffic and I think this move will do that. Now if I could just get those Gold Cards to come my way more often....

I have played at Cake a lot too. I think that their unique promotions and ability to come into the forums and take sometimes rude critique to improve puts them far above the other recent startups. I'm sure players are much more likely to feel comfortable with a new poker room when their rep is so visible and easy to contact in their favorite forums. This is part of why I have so much support of them.

I will PM you with my screen name. I didn't sign up through any affiliate when I created the account, did it straight through your site. Thanks.

Could you put some 6-max tables higher than .25/.50 NL on?

Just .50/$1 and $1/$2 for starters.

Thanks
