Default Top 50 Fictional Weapons of All Time

Yeah, probably one of the dorkiest things ever, but eff it I'm sure plenty of people here will have an opinion on it.

Some highlights:

50. Predator’s Flying Disc
29. Ash’s Chainsaw Hand
25. Spread Gun (Contra)
4. Lightsabers

I don't really understand how lightsaber's aren't #1.

I am happy to see two weapons from the Final Fantasy series in there however.

Gunblade's RULE! (Yes, I too am a dork.)

That was my initial reaction. Lightsabers are so awesome. Some of the best action moments I have ever seen were lightsaber duels. When Yoda fought Count Dooku, I thought I was going to piss my pants.

I'm glad someone had enough time on their hands to make this list.

Side note: When I was a little kid just getting into Star Wars and having no idea what a "saber" was, I always thought they were calling it a "life saver."

Ah...the BFG.

When my friends and I played Doom II in the freshman dorm back in the day, we made a rule that you couldn't use the BFG. Two guys almost got into a fist fight when one of them decided it would be funny to terrorize the other with the BFG for an entire game.

My only problem is not seeing the Glaive from Krull on this list. That was badass.

Does anyone remember that thing from that horrible Keanu Reeves movie Johnny Mnemonic? It was like this laser rope/string thing. So awesome.
