Turn is the easiest call in the world, this is a WA/WB situation in position. You don't charge draws by raising, and there's very little chance that you're bluffing on this board and he should know that so AQ/AJ/AT can find a fold here if you do raise.

I raise a small river bet, and I flat anything 75% of pot or more.

Getting it in on the river won't be hard if you think you're ahead, but you'll have more information by then and can make a more informed decision. This also gives him the opportunity for him to bluff, or even put you on a float and call you with something like QQ or JJ.

'Shove and pray' ...great advice.

i either bet/3bet or c/r that flop 100% of the time...

as played shove; he could show up with AQ/AJ here, no?

that's kind of what i was thinking. my first instinct though was that i was beat and he had to have ak or kk hoping to stack a lone ace.

but then i thought aq or aj might be in his range. i don't know.

You gave good advice if hero were in position, but hero is out of position.

meh, I probably call and then c/c. I like leading for $16 on the flop and then 3betting.

[/ QUOTE ]isn't this line transparent against a 12/9 at the $200? You're really hoping he has AK but a 12/9 is going to be raising a wide range on the button so doesn't this lose value?

For some reason I read the hand backwards. I c/r the flop, as played i like a call then a lead/call.

not raising this hand preflop is making you pretty easy to exploit, and its making it very difficult for you to get 3 streets of value with tptk and overpairs.

yeah c/r the flop. I don't think this is a good spot to lead, since you can't represent a very wide range. Granted, c/r doesn't rep a very wide range either, but at least you can convince him that if you have a draw he can "call and get it in on a blank." b3b doesn't even give him that option, since he has to make his commitment decision before the turn.

I guess crai the turn as played, but yeah you definitely butchered it, and your biggest mistake with regard to you being an overall optimal tight aggressive player was preflop.
