well i hate to be the nail that sticks out but i didnt like them (i listend to 4 songs of theirs).
honestly ive seen high school bands as good as this one.

if you want i can get a whole reason why i dont like them (i couldnt care leass about convincing anyone) but that is outside the point.

I don't like them either. But not because I think it's crap, it's just crap I don't like.

Bump, this album has the official IndieMattySuspect seal of approval. Very good, probably top 5 of the year.

I love this album. I'm kind of meh about some tracks but I was obsessed wih Yankee Bayonet and The Perfect Crime 2 for a while.

For fans of Meloy, I would suggest listening to the song "Cemetary Row W14" by The Minus 5. He steps in as lead singer for this one song on what happens to be a slightly above average album. Cemetary Row W14 is a great song though.

EDIT: For the sake of The Minus 5, the song With a Gun from the same album is also great. That album, by the way, is the self-titled album but it's sometimes called the Gun Album because of the gun on the cover and you know...songs like With a Gun, Rifle Called Goodbye, and Guns of August...

Of course I have. It's an interested record, and better than Milk-Eyed Mender, but her brand of showtuney musical warbling just doesn't grab me like Crane Wife. Newsom is talented for sure, but I'm not too into it. I don't like Broadway either.
