I\'m going to teach SSNL how to be weak tight
Seat 1: xxx (270.15 in chips)
Seat 3: xxx (47.60 in chips) Seat 4: xxx (81.00 in chips) Seat 7: Hero (262.25 in chips) Seat 8: xxx (198.00 in chips) Seat 10: Villain (301.60 in chips) xxx: posts small blind $1 Villain: posts big blind $2 Dealt to Hero [ J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ] xxx: folds xxx: folds xxx: calls Hero: raises to $9 xxx: folds Villain: calls xxx: calls *** FLOP *** [ 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ] ~$27 Villain: checks xxx: checks Hero: bets $22 Villain: raises to $57.30 xxx: folds Hero: folds Villain is fairly loose passive around 35/10/1.7, and I have no notes on his c/r range so it's safe to say that he very rarely does it. The primary reason I folded was because there are about zero safe cards that can come on the turn, so even if I'm ahead I'm going to be wading around in the dark on the next two streets. Thoughts? |

Why not call the flop and see what happens on the turn? Or is that bad?

So are you saying the only hands he does this with is 79, a set, or 2 pair?

Re: I\'m going to teach SSNL how to be weak tight
i actually dont mind a fold here, but i would probably shove because there are a lot of draws he could have and i dont mind variance.
