Default Monitor setup, cash reward

I have $500 to spend on a monitor or a two monitor (small ones) set up. Right now I have a 17" flat panel LCD, and it sucks balls. Huge mega beat. I want to hook my laptop up to a new monitor(s) so keep that in mind.

If I do end up buying it, I'll try my best to supply pictures, and also a cash reward to the best option.

TL;DR Cliffnotes: I need badass monitor(s) for $500, cash reward gogogo

I looked at getting ONE of those, i checked out that newegg.com place. That's like $469 or so, and I looked at getting that one. I want other options though, and can't be over $500.

basically i looked at all the monitors on newegg.com. The Westinghouse is a garbage brand. I was thinking of getting the Acer (probably not) or the Samsung 24" (probably.) I was looking to find some better deals, or a small two monitor setup for <$500.
