Default 2-40 spread hand ... the game was playing more like limit than NL

I mistakenly posted in "other poker" but that forum get zilch for traffic.

I'd like to know if there is value in re-raising in this spot....

1-1-2 blinds, 2-40 spread game in Seattle because the law caps bets at $40. This game is playing huge compared to the blinds. Most pots are raised to 10+ PF, one or two $40 bets usually go in. Stacks are mostly deep.
Players are not very good in general, although they have all played limit hold'em for years. (myself included)

UTG limps, LP Limps, I raise to $8 with Jc9c because I like the pots to be bigger when I have position.

SB calls, BB folds, others call. 4 to the flop for $8 = $24

Flop Qc, 7c, 2c

BB checks (short stack, unpredictable dealer), UTG bets 20 (likes to gamble), LP calls (middle age entrepreneur, knows poker, but might like to gamble).
I raise to 60, BB calls, UTG 3-bets to 100, LP calls, I cap 140. All call.

Turn: 6h
Checked to me, I bet 40, SB raises all in for 80, UTG calls, LP hesitates and calls, ..... my action?

More money in the pot NOW please sir. UTG's lack of agression on the turn makes a made flush higher than your seem unlikely.

you could put the likelihood of a flush out there at 100% and still probably 3 bet for value

ok, so I 3-bet. The other two call.

Now UTG stands up like WPT.
The next card pairs the board (2h) and UTG picks up $40 and slams it into the middle.

LP thinks and thinks.... and calls.

My turn?

Easy raise on the turn. River is probably a fold. Your getting like a billion to 1, but your chances to win are slightly worse than a billion to 1.

Where is all of this happening? Hollywood park?
