Default dual citizenship taxes

I know that if you are simply an American citizen, the only way to get out of paying taxes on something like poker winnings if you move to england is to renounce your citizenship. however, I am a citizen of america as well as england...does this mean that if all of my income came while i was in england, i would not have to pay taxes to US?
