It would be nice if nich would tell us whether only current African countries are allowed; what happens if we give a legitimate name of a former African country? does it depend whether that country's modern name has already been taken or not?

For the master list, I haven't heard Lesotho, Djibouti or Cote d'Ivoire mentioned. Former Tanganyika + former Zanzibar = modern Tanzania.
