you don't say anything about your image, which is easily the most important part of the hand.

How does the guys behind him play, should he expect them to raise ?
If he holds some random pocket pair, is he going to call if you push ?

Seems that this Bryant guy knows how to mix it up.

That is 100% correct. If this guy is a thinking player, and he may well be based on the description, you need to do some higher level thinking. What do you think that he thinks that you have. Seriously. If he thinks you just read S&M and are raising out of the BB with J3o then you shove. If he thinks you would only raise in this spot with a premium hand then it may be a fold.

I'd push and kick it to variance. I think the difference in this hand and the previous hand you observed are that in the previous hand, he slow played vs. aggression... notice he just called a raise, then just called another raise preflop. Now on this hand he just called after a limp, but once a raise was put in he woke up. I would think that if he had AA or KK action would have more likely went raise, you 3bet, he calls.

So assuming we're either flipping or we're ahead this is a shove.

I don't really think you can compare the two. In the first hand he closed the preflop action. In the second hand there are two players left to act making him much more inclined to 3-bet AA/KK

I'm definitely shoving, but that is because I raise limpers large from the blinds/late position with quite a wide range and people often get frustrated by it and try to shut me down. If you don't do this much or he hasn't seen you do it or you've been nitty at this table then maybe it could possibly be a fold, but I really think it's a shove 90%+ of the time. It's also worth considering that the fact he has already played AA that way in front of you might be factoring into him thinking he can fold you here.
