you think this is for value??!?!?

[/ QUOTE ]

Of course. Really thin...but it's certainly not a bluff.

[ QUOTE ]
We are never good here if he calls.

[/ QUOTE ]

Fish call here w/ Ax a lot IME.

Plus...I mean look at his line. Why are we automatically giving him credit for an 8 or a K? Why didn't he shove turn? Why the teeny tiny river lead?

[/ QUOTE ]

Who cares why he made a small bet. If you r winning you will win the same sized pot as if you shoved because he would fold.... reverse implied odds could have a book written about them with this hand as the ONLY example.

after he calls your turn raise i think its safe to shut it down regardlesss of the river card. he has Kx or 8x like 95% of the time. since he bet so donkishly small on the river u can call just to see wtf he has, but raising is pretty bad

i agree. you can be happy that he bets so little so you have an easy call.

I'd just call, but I think you're ahead way more often thatn you're behind. This line from a donk looks like A high or 3 pairs

I love this play, he's gonna call with A high and weird pps so often and he's so rarely gonna show up with the goods here.

Edit: If this was done as a bluff, everyone would hate it because donks DO call with A high here.

Raise the flop > raise the turn > raise the river

ppl r underestimating fish\s calling ranges here, a-high on two pair board seems strong to them as do useless pps and def worse flushes, obv he has 8x sommmetimes but not shoving is missing a lot of value, i might just raise to 20 though to ensure i get called by those crap hands and then call a shove reluctantly.

Meh...I do raise flop a lot. This was a pretty easy board to float though. It's probably like 60/40 raise/call for me.

While the shove may not be great...this statement is just plain wrong.

your bet is NOT for value, you might as well have ATC here

[/ QUOTE ]

WTF? I beat everything except for a K/8/99 and the nut flush. I beat A LOT of hands...so saying I might as well have ATC is just stupid.

Seriously.
