When a Stranger Calls
Does this obvious POS chafe anyone else's ass? Why remake such an effective little horror movie? I mean, the whole things works because back then THERE WAS NO CALLER ID.
Sheesh. It's official. Writing a spec screenplay these days is an exercise in futility. There are no movies being made by the studios that aren't comic books, remakes or sequals. Bleh.

i don't understand the whole "DOOD WE TRACED THE CALL, IT'S COMING FROM IN UR HOUSE!" bit. do they have 2 lines or something? i guess they have to! the killer must really research his victims.. make sure they have two phone lines!

If wanting the movies I watch to be of a certain filmmaking/screenwriting quality makes me "high-brow" then I guess I'm going to get comfortable with being high-brow.

I think Dominic should try to imitate the dumb brother in Adaptation and write a Barbie movie. I guarantee if you got Jessica Simpson committed, that movie would get made.

[/ QUOTE ] With the old school landline phones, there was something you could do to make the phone ring from inside the house, using another phone on the same line. I know because I used to do it, but for the life of me I can't remember how. P.S. The original movie was good, and I think this new one will definitely suck.
