For the record I never made one ace high call-down when I wasn't good and, in fact, made a couple of solid ace high value bets.

EDIT: Would a 5-bet, fold to a 6-bet line have been optimal?

Seriously, the river play is expert as played given the read and the board, but you need to check behind on the turn. Villain either has a hand he wants to get to showdown cheaply with 66-99 or a hand he will c/r again knowing that you are an aggro monkey. The times that you do have the best hand, he's likely drawing to 3-outs and will bet the river for you anyways.

Just check the turn and call any river. Think about raising a A/K.
