Not less likely exactly just if his read is right I think a good Tag may lay down AT after being three bet and only getting an inside SD + 1 possibly dominated over on the flop.

But he's getting 10.5:1 to play his hand HU on the flop. At any rate, I do understand the point being made in that ATs is not MORE likely than the other hands in his range....

I still don't see how Hero can be behind here most times. Wouldn't villain have capped JJ, QQ, pf?

true I see your point. But would you donk the turn as a tag with AT after that action. If he is a tag he is more likely to notice if Hero is tag as well. The ace is not the card I want to see with AT after that action.

I would raise the turn and fold to a threebet. If he just calls turn and donks river I call. If he calls turn and checks river I bet.

Isn't it very likely, that if he calls a turn raise and c/c-s river, our hand will be only 2nd best?

As villain now, I'm definitely not donking, because I don't want to be raised by JJ, QQ, AA, AK, AQ. I'd like to draw acap. Villain is more passive than aggro I think, and the donk shows more weakness than strength. It may be a 3-bet setup like NIX said, but the hands that are going for a turn 3-bet are capped pf.

Havent played fullring for a long time.
But:
1.) You have to call this down on the turn.
2.) Is there any chance you have to raise anywhere? (turn or river?). I think: no.
So: good play.
